The product’s effect is based on a balanced combination of substances of herbal origin: seeds of squash and black caraway, elfdock root, essential oil from garden savory, cloves and thyme.
Elfdock and thyme support intestinal tract activity and cleansing, savory is a significant antioxidant and aids normal digestion similar tohcloves, which also supports appetite. The main active ingredient in squash seedsis cucurbitin.
Given favourable conditions (colder temperature up to 20 °C) pinworm eggs can survive for up to several days on clothes, bed linen or other objects. Infection occurs if these eggs are accidentally eaten. The eggs are very light and can even be spread by air currents. One female can excrete between 5-17 thousand eggs and they are often glued into thin threads.
