Dosage and method of use

Octicide is used in undiluted form. To assure the highest effect, apply it immediately after the injury or at the first signs of inflammation. Octicide is applied once a day for a period of maximally 14 days.

The product is applied by spraying onto the treated area, ensuring complete wetting. After application, an exposure time of at least 1 to 2 minutes must be observed before further procedures are carried out. The maximal effect is assured within 2 hours from its application.

Attention

Do not inhale while applying by mechanical sprayer. Do not allow the product to pass into the blood circulation, e.g., as a result of accidental injection.

Do not use concomitantly with antiseptics based on povidone-iodine complex on adjacent areas of skin, as strong brown to violet discolorations can occur at the border areas.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if the wound is not healed properly or has signs of inflammation (redness, burning or oedema).

The use of Octicide may be considered during pregnancy after the first trimester is finished if recommended by your doctor.

Octicide should not be used in the breast area of nursing mothers. Do not use unless clearly indicated by your doctor.
